Hello everyone, I know that I haven't uploaded any photo's of Livi lately so I thought since i'm sitting at home right now getting snowed in that I would do a little blogging. Livi is looking so grownup lately, she has just in the last couple of days started saying her own prayers, not actual words, but she will fold her arms mumble whisper something and the say amen, well it actually sounds more like aumun. It is so cute though. She is so much fun and I love playing with her, right now one of our favorite games is I'll throw this big bouncy ball in the air and hit with my head over to her. She thinks it is so funny she just laughs and laughs. Okay this first picture I love, I told her to stand by the door way so I could get a photo of her outfit, and she put her hand on the wall all by herself and gave me this gorgeous smile. The next two are of Livi and Elise, Elise is the baby that I babysit three times a week, and Livi is just crazy about her. She is just always wanting to give her kisses and hold her. Most of the time while I am watching Elise, I am constantly telling Livi to be gentle with her and telling her that is enough kisses. It is so sweet to watch Livi getting excited when Elise comes over. Squeels and laughter are all you her from her for at least the first 10 minutes.

Your Birthdate: February 14 |
You work well with others. That is, you're good at getting them to do work for you. It's true that you get by on your charm. But so what? You make people happy! You're dynamic, clever, and funny. And people like to have you around. But you're so restless, they better not expect you to stay around for long. Your strength: Your superstar charisma Your weakness: Commitment means nothing to you Your power color: Fuchsia Your power symbol: Diamond Your power month: May |
This is creepy how much it is like me. It is exactly what I am like.

What an amazing man...
President Gordon B. Hinckley, president and prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has passed away tonight. He was such an amazing man and I am so saddened to hear of his passing. It almost feels like my grandfather has died. He was a Prophet of God, he helped change the world in so many ways and he will greatly be missed. I am so glad that I was able to be a youth when he was a prophet all the great council he gave has helped me be who I am today. I'm so glad that he now gets to join his sweet wife in heaven, they must be feeling so blessed to know that they are now together forever.

So this last weekend we went to Medford to see Damon's family and on Saturday we drove up to Myrtle Creek which is by Roseburg and went to an 80th birthday party for Grandma Linda's boyfriend Ned. Grandma Linda is Damon's grandma. Her and Ned have been together for about 7 years now. Anyways Ned through a big birthday bash for himself that was a 20's theme. It was so much fun to see all the old people dressed up, all the flapper dresses and zoot suits, it was quit amusing. They had a live band and as soon as they started playing Olivia was out on the dance floor shaking her groove thing. Her are some photos from the party. One with Great-grandma and Ned, and then with Aunty Anna.

Snow Update..
Okay here are some photos of our house and all the snow we have gotten. Notice the fence and where the top of the fence is and how much snow is on top of it. I just can't get over it.
Okay so today was quite the adventure. At 10 a.m. I had to leave my house and go to work and drop Olivia of at my parents. I had already been out shoveling that morning so I thought I wouldn't really wouldn't have any trouble leaving our driveway. I was wrong, after about three times of driving forward and then reversing I finally got out the driveway. Well our house is on a road that is on a hill, instead of driving down the hill(which would have been a wise idea) I decided to drive up the hill. As you have probably guessed I got stuck, not just a little stuck, but big stuck. I drove into a snow bankment while I was trying to turn the corner and not get stuck. I had to call my dad and Damon to come and help me, I was kind of freaking out, Damon had to just tow the car out. After the car got unstuck, I made my dad drive it to his house with Olivia in the back, while drove his suburban (I knew there was a reaon why I like SUV's so much). Luckily those where the only times that I did get stuck, but I was so scared that it would happen any time I turned onto a road. I think though just today we got about over a foot of snow, there is so much snow it is almost covering my front yard fence.
Tons, I mean TONS OF SNOW!
Okay so the past couple of days here it just has been snowing non stop. We got quite a bit over the weekend, but last night it just dumped it on us. This morning when Damon was leaving for work he came into the bedroom where I was still sleeping and told me I need to wake up so I can start shoveling. I was thinking okay whatever, its not that bad. Damon made me look outside and I couldn't believe what my eye's saw. There was at least and I do mean AT LEAST a good foot of FRESH SNOW! I know Emma you are so jealous right now thinking of the nice powder up at the ski hill, it is amazing powder right now. So anyway I spent a good 40minutes outside shoveling the steps, walkway, and around the car, hopefully I won't get stuck. I really don't mind shoveling, its a good workout. I just can't believe how much snow we have gotten, I don't think we have had this much for about 5 years, they even cancelled school and they NEVER cancel school. And the crazy thing is that it is still snowing outside. So who knows how much we will get by the end of the day. Hope those people who are complaining about the 50 degree weather are staying nice and warm(you know who you are).

Nasty, nasty storm.
So yesterday (Friday), we had the worst weather in southern Oregon. Wind gusts were up to 70mph, I thought my house was going to be blown away. Luckily my house wasn't blown away but it came pretty close. I'm sitting in our house and I keep on hearing something banging up against the house. At first I thought it was our dog Red's dog house, so I looked out the window and what did I see (no popcorn popping, that's for sure) but some of the siding of the house. The wind had ripped of the siding, I couldn't believe it. I was so afraid that we were going to have to start this big unplanned project. Luckily Damon was able to fix it with a guy from church. Apparently it wasn't that hard to fix which is always nice for Damon. The wind was blowing so hard in Lakeview though that power lines went down, roofs came of, siding came of, trees came down. It was quite the storm.
